James Green, SAI Global Speaks at BCI World Virtual

SAI Global is delighted to be contributing to the first virtual BCI World event on Thursday, Nov. 5.

BCI’s theme for 2020 is “stronger together” and will address how multiple teams and organizations with varying backgrounds can be brought closer together to improve resilience.

BCI World Virtual 2020 will give delegates access to over 70 hours of ideas and experiences. The live sessions will take place over a 16-hour period each day, meaning delegates can attend live sessions wherever they are in the world. Sessions will be recorded, and delegates will be given 90 days to access all sessions.

SAI Global’s very own business continuity management expert James Green will be speaking live at the event. Make sure you catch his session!

Putting the “Cyber” in Operational Resilience
Cyber and IT Resilience Track
Thursday, Nov. 5 | 16:00 GMT

Recent research conducted by SAI Global highlighted that cybersecurity threats are the biggest concern for Business Continuity managers. However, these risks are often owned and managed by another department preventing adequate risk mitigation and recovery planning.

James Green, Director of Risk Advisory Services at SAI Global, leads a session that will cover:

  • How to map your BC systems and processes through the lens of cybersecurity, including prioritizing important business services, identifying impact tolerances, and conduct scenario testing
  • A fresh perspective on the new FCA regulations and what they mean for your organization
  • How cybersecurity ties in with operational resilience, including tangible steps to bring them together within an organization to improve resilience
  • Recent examples of working with clients globally to help organizations better plan for and recover from cybersecurity threats

Register for BCI World Virtual 2020 and make sure you don’t miss this insightful presentation.
