With an ever-increasing reliance on technology and external suppliers to facilitate transactions and deliver services to customers, businesses today face a multitude of risks which may disrupt operations, threaten their ability to deliver critical services and expose their information and that of their customers to cyber threats. The concept of operational resilience has emerged as a crucial framework for managing these risks and ensuring business continuity in the face of adversity.

The impact of operational failures can have severe and long-lasting consequences on individuals and broader financial stability, with many examples like Commonwealth, Westpac, NAB, Medibank and Latitude Financial. In response, the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) is introducing new guidelines under the CPS 230 framework for managing operational resilience, which will come into effect in 2025.

Watch our webinar, where we highlight the importance of preparing with the APRA CPS 230 framework, best practices being used globally, and how the right GRC technology can help financial institutions meet these requirements.

In this on-demand webinar, we discuss:

  • An overview of the requirements of APRA CPS 230 and its relation to similar acts such as APRA CPS234 and the EU Digital Operational Resilience Act
  • The challenges that financial institutions face around implementing and maintaining compliance with their existing regulatory frameworks
  • What key steps organizations can take now to ensure they are prepared for CPS 230
  • How the right technology can alleviate the burden of compliance and provide a competitive edge
  • Q&A session
